Our Story

⚾ Born from a Love of Baseball — and a Desire to Share It

Japan Baseball Experience was born from something simple: a deep love for baseball — and the realization that many travelers never truly get to experience it.

Growing Up with Japanese Baseball

Baseball has always been part of my life.
When I was a university student, I worked part-time as a stadium beer vendor, walking the stands and experiencing the ballpark atmosphere from the inside. Later, I was involved in system development for a professional baseball team, seeing the game from behind the scenes.
Like many fans, I’ve spent countless hours in stadiums — learning the chants, the timing, and the unspoken rhythm of Japanese cheering culture.
Japanese baseball isn’t just a sport.
It’s organized passion, synchronized songs, and strangers becoming teammates for three hours.

Watching Travelers Sit in Silence

Over time, I noticed something.
Travelers would come to games, sit, watch, and leave. They enjoyed it — but they never fully entered it.
They didn’t know when to stand, when to chant, or when to clap in rhythm.
They were spectators — not participants.
And I kept thinking:
“If only someone was sitting next to them.”

The Idea — “Watch with a Local”

That’s when the idea became clear.
Not a tour. Not a lecture. Not a scripted explanation.
Just this: sit together, explain in real time, cheer together, share a beer, and feel the crowd — the way locals do.

What This Experience Is Really About

Japan Baseball Experience exists for one reason:
To make sure you don’t just watch Japanese baseball —
you feel it.
You understand the chants.
You know when to join in.
You become part of the cheering section.
For one game, you’re not a tourist.
You’re part of the crowd.

My Promise as Your Host

I’m not a professional tour guide, and my English may not be perfect.
But I truly love baseball. And I genuinely want you to experience the real energy of Japanese stadium culture — the kind that stays with you long after the game ends.
That’s why I host only one private group per game — so it feels real, personal, and like watching with a friend.

Ready to Experience Japanese Baseball Like a Local?

If you’re visiting Japan and want something more than just a ticket, I’d be honored to share the game with you.
